Sylvia Stopforth ~

Writer

Sylvia is a lapsed librarian who used to word-tinker on the side. Now she writes straight down the middle, through the dark wood, and across the Pelnish Sea to where the Wild Things are, out beyond Asteroid B-612.

All are welcome on the journey provided they bring snacks (to share), and a willing suspension of disbelief.

Portrait of Sylvia Stopforth by Mel Anastasiou

The first book first.
And how I felt it beat
Under my pillow, in the morning's dark,
An hour before the sun would let me read!
My books!
